Privacy Policy for DevDashboard

Overview

DevDashboard is a Chrome extension that provides a local productivity dashboard with a Pomodoro timer, quick notes, tasks, and lightweight focus progress information.

Data Collection

DevDashboard does not collect, sell, transmit, or share personal data. The extension does not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, external APIs, or remote code.

Local Storage

DevDashboard stores the following information locally in Chrome storage on your device:

• Timer state and session count
• Notes you create
• Tasks you create
• Local visit streak data

This information is used only to provide the dashboard features and keep your data available between popup opens.

Focus Score

DevDashboard calculates Focus Score locally from your Pomodoro sessions, task completion, and local streak data. This score is not sent anywhere.

Data Export

If you click Export data, DevDashboard creates a local JSON file containing your dashboard data. This file is created only after your explicit action.

Data Sharing

DevDashboard does not send your data to the developer or to third parties.

Data Deletion

You can delete individual notes and tasks in the extension. You can also remove all stored extension data by uninstalling DevDashboard or clearing the extension's site or storage data in Chrome.

Permissions

DevDashboard uses Chrome storage to save local dashboard data, Chrome alarms to keep timer completion working when the popup is closed, and Chrome notifications to alert you when a timer completes.
