Deadline Countdown is a Chrome extension for tracking deadline tasks, countdowns, notes, priorities, and reminder notifications. The extension is designed to work locally in your browser.

Data the extension stores

The extension stores the tasks you create, including task names, optional notes, deadline dates, priority levels, completion status, and local preference settings such as sort and filter choices.

Where data is stored

All extension data is stored locally using Chrome extension storage on your device. Deadline Countdown does not operate a server, does not transmit your task data to the developer, and does not sell or share your data.

Permissions

• Storage: used to save your tasks and display settings locally.
• Alarms: used to schedule local checks for upcoming deadlines.
• Notifications: used to show local browser reminders when a deadline is approaching.

Third parties

The extension does not include analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, remote scripts, or third-party data processors.

Data control

You can delete individual tasks, clear completed tasks, export your task list as JSON, or remove all extension data by uninstalling the extension from Chrome. Exported JSON files are saved only where you choose to download them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated and the revised policy will describe the current behavior of the extension.
